Principal's Message
I am Mrs. Schulte and I am delighted to lead the team at Baskin School. This will be my fifth year as principal at Baskin. Prior to accepting the principal position, I was a teacher in the Monroe City Schools District for seven years.
I have two Masters degrees from the University of Louisiana at Monroe. My first masters is in Elementary Education and my second is in Educational Leadership. I am currently pursuing a doctoral degree in Curriculum and Instruction. This year will mark my twelfth year in education.
I believe stakeholders play an essential role in educating the children of our local communities. I would like to take this opportunity to invite you to tour our beautiful campus, talk with staff, and visit our students. Our doors are always open to the local community. We feel that open lines of communication between school and home is a vital component to the success of our educational program. By working together, we can help Baskin reach our collective goals.
If at any time we can be of assistance to you, please feel free to contact the school.
Sincerely,
Ashley Schulte
